this idea i think more about practical.
Design a public bench making people feel comfortable, functional, innovation, and universal.
because my design environment is in circular quay, or other places like harbor or along the coast.
i combined the elements from opera house and harbor bridge to make this bench suitable for Sydney and other seaside citys.
the features of this bench compare to the previous design.
1. add armrest for elder people
2. make the edges harmless for people
3.flat the seat surface
4.during the summer season, using wood material as bench top that can reduce the heat.
5.using the shape of the bench to make a bike locking space instead of using extra material to make a bike racks.
6.more esthetic than the previous design
7. suitable for smaller spaces
8.easy to manufacture and install for workers
9.suitable for mass production and different city to use, even though for different countries.
